At Bodywise, we offer Pilates in various formats but we believe that the very best way to begin is with the Private Session. This allows us to tailor the work to your specific body’s needs at the pace that’s right for you. Together with your instructor, you’ll map out the next steps in your Pilates journey.

Private Session

1 client : 1 instructor

A 50-minute appointment between you and your instructor where you’ll work on the Reformer, the Mat and secondary apparatus, all designed by Joseph Pilates. You’ll learn the mechanics of the apparatus, proper set-up and body placement while addressing your specific needs and goals. With consistent practice you’ll build strength and increase flexibility. We recommend all new clients begin with our New Client Intro Offer of 3 Private Sessions.

Small Group Classes

1-5 clients : 1 instructor

These apparatus based classes are for the Pilates practitioners looking to add a bit more independence to their practice. Clients will be led through the workout, utilizing the Reformer and the Mat/Tower apparatus. Because we keep a good pace and flow, students should be familiar with spring settings, pad placement, and exercises by name in order to participate. We recommend a minimum of 3 Private Sessions before entering these classes.

Semi-Private Session

2-3 clients : 1 instructor

Semi-Privates are 50-minute Duet or Trio appointments that are only bookable by email request. They’re the perfect option for people looking for the accountability and inspiration that comes from exercising with your friend, family, or partner. Although not recommended as an ideal starting point, a Semi-Private Session can be a nice way to add some fun to your Pilates practice down the road.
